Devising requires trust, collaboration, and presence - qualities our culture formed by capitalism often leaves little room for, and funnily enough, that mirrors how I believe we need to approach climate change: with collective thinking, space for all voices, and a willingness to be uncomfortable together.

About me
a playwright

I'm a playwright making theatre with communities and working on solo commissions. With over a decade of experience making work in community (Tara Theatre, The Dot Collective, London Bubble Theatre, Southwark Council), my practice is rooted in collaboration, care, and accessibility. I believe the process of making, is just as important and transformative, as the show. Being in community - listening, observing, and learning how people express themselves and interact, shapes my creative process. Stepping away to reflect allows me to process what I've absorbed and translate it into writing. In turn, the writing feeds back into the work I do with communities, offering new ways to process and create. This cyclical process of connection and reflection is central to how I make work - I aim to make work that is dramatic resonant, socially engaged, and rooted in real experience.
